The Glasgow Arms Hotel’s brand was more bland than brand new when they engaged Remember Creative. Over our deep dive sessions with the clients it was decided that there were many improvements that needed to be made.
WHAT WE DID
The website, much maligned in the organisation, was not responsive, had coding issues and overall did not represent the Arms.
The group’s mantra is Food Talk Drink Sport Stay. Stay maybe last but it is certainly not least; with boutique rooms above the hotel, the Glasgow’s accommodation is just as important as the pubs natural environs and, unlike the old site, the rooms were given due consideration when plotting the UX of the website.
Without much budget we found an outcome for Glasgow that was more than desirable and had the added bonus of now having the ability to book accommodation directly rather than their third party suppliers (Expedia, Wotif etc).
After forging a good working relationship with Glasgow through the production of the website, we have continued our partnership by producing digital and print collateral for the group.
Our local was a venue steeped in …. tradition, shall we say. The pub felt as fresh as a stale schooner sitting in the sun. So, with creativity “on-tap” we helped reinvigorate the Glasgow coasters to clicks, social to the Sunday roast!
